Nubian Air International Mission Statement

The goal of Nubian Air International is to raise the awareness level of the outstanding history made by the Tuskegee Airmen. Burdened by racist laws, their patriotism and dedication to the war effort never wavered. They trained hard and became skilled in all aspects of war time aviation. Their heroic achievements were both noble and exceptional while fighting against racist who dealt from a stacked deck.  The Tuskegee Airmen literally had to fight for their right to fight.

Nubian Air International is dedicated to telling the true Tuskegee Airmen Story as well as many other contributions made by African Americans during those pioneering years of aviation. This history is not that well known.  Generally, it is not taught in Americas class rooms.

If young African-Americans can’t read about that history in their school books or see it in the media, they will assume their descendants did nothing during the great war. It’s also  a common perception that black service men were relegated to duties such as; the mess hall or driving trucks.

Nubian Air is currently working with the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site. Our efforts enclude everything; from providing informative guided tours for our visitors to cleaning and maintaining the historical airplanes and artefacts. We also vigorously support other organizations and individuals whose goals are similar to ours. Most of the funds generated by sails on this web site go to those organizations and youth programs.

Nubian Air Intl. affiliated organizations include:
